Blue Ridge Vistas II
A scenic look at the 14,000 square mile Blue Ridge Public Television viewing area. VISTAS II takes you from Amherst County in the east, to the Alleghany Highlands, to southside, to the far southwestern end of the state at Cumberland Gap and many points in between.
About the Communicator Award: The 2001 Communicator Award was given to Carol Jennings, Blue Ridge PBS Producer/Director, who won the "Award of Distinction" in the Entertainment Program category. The Communicator Awards is an international awards program founded by communication professionals to recognize excellence in the communication field. The Communicator Awards gives winners and their clients the recognition that the work they are producing is outstanding and highly regarded by their peers.
About the Videographer Award: Andre Burroughs, Blue Ridge PBS Production Manager, won the Videographer Award "Award of Distinction" in the category of TV Creativity/Original Music for his original music for the program. The Videographer Awards is an international awards program directed by communications professionals to honor talented individuals and companies in the video production field. Entrants include video production companies, advertising and public relations firms, corporate communications departments, cable and broadcast television operations, government agencies and schools, independent producers and wedding and special event producers. Past winners have come from all 50 states and numerous countries.
